Things I Thought About:
- Happy Color, the coloring app that I have had on my phone for years, occasionally will throw up the wildest page you've ever seen in your life. I am thinking of one from a week or two ago that was scene of a beautiful Tuscan country house, with rolling fields dotted with hay bales, and as you complete the picture the last thing you get to is the hay bales, and when you color them in, they are actually pieces of a sushi roll. That is good, clean fun.
- This road is perpendicular to Ranger Road, and it is called Cardinal Road, and, remembering the gentleman who was sure that park was called Cardinal Park, I said "a-ha!" when I saw this little pocket park. But this park is also not named Cardinal Park. The mystery continues.
- Tuesdays are always a tough day for me to get a bird, but I can hear a bunch, which is nice, and the temperature is pleasant. My body is still recovering from the excesses of the weekend and yesterday's unpleasant morning, but this walk is very chill, and I'm glad I made the time before pub quiz.
BOTD: white-breasted nuthatch, directly overhead. I wasn't in the mood to chase anybody down tonight, but there was a lot of activity. All the usual suspects were flitting around the tree line, but the nuthatch wins today for being proximate.
