Things I Thought About:

  • I didn't make it for my morning walk this morning, and there is now a massive thunderstorm. I didn't see a single dang bird all day.
  • Here are some of the photos from yesterday that didn't make the cut.
This one is a butterfly.
A green heron on the boardwalk.
One of the cuter photos of a green tree frog.
A great blue heron, because there is always a great blue heron.
And another look at that osprey, because he fucking owns.

BOTD: American goldfinch. I did like this little sweetheart, I just felt like I was running on a bit yesterday. I think the males are more handsome with their black arm and face markings, but her olive-gray is nice too, and I always love to see a little yellow bird. Gold on green and gold.
